COLUMBIA — A back to school event will offer family members free school supplies, haircuts, vaccinations and more on Wednesday.

The Back to Faculty Bash is hosted by West Center University and runs from 1 to 7 p.m. at the MU Wellness Care Pavilion. The occasion is open to any families irrespective of regardless of whether they are living in Columbia or have college students in the Columbia Public Faculty district.

Veterans United donated $20,000 to the celebration, so organizers could buy about 1,000 new pairs of sneakers. Hundreds of pairs of carefully utilised footwear can also be picked up at the function, no cost of charge.
