The UEZ started in the 1980s in an effort to assist New Jersey’s cities compete with suburban purchasing malls and other suppliers. Today, there are 32 zones in 37 municipalities with much more than 7,200 corporations.

The City Enterprise Zone software is meant to travel financial enhancement and revitalization in these business enterprise centers. Most notably, it’s carried out that by letting companies to demand fifty percent of the state’s income tax price of 6.625%, or about 3.3%, to catch the attention of prospects.
